Business Owner, Community Volunteer, and Local Leader
For more than four decades, Ronn Hall has built his life and career around serving the East County community. A lifelong San Diego County resident, Ronn is a longtime insurance agent, notary public, small business owner, and public servant who has dedicated much of his professional life to helping local families, businesses, and residents navigate important decisions.
Since being elected to the Santee City Council in 2014, Ronn has focused on practical solutions, responsive government, and maintaining the quality of life that has made Santee one of East County’s most desirable communities. He was re-elected in 2018 and again in 2022, continuing a record of public service rooted in local involvement and accessibility.
Deep Roots in the Community
Long before serving on the City Council, Ronn was actively involved in local organizations and civic leadership. As a former President and Board Member of the Santee Chamber of Commerce, he worked alongside fellow community leaders to help launch the Santee Street Fair, which has grown into one of the region’s largest community events.
His business, Ronn Hall Insurance and Notary Services, has served East County residents for decades and has been recognized as a Santee Business of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce. Through both his business and volunteer work, Ronn has developed a reputation for being approachable, responsive, and invested in the success of the community he calls home.
Focusing on the Issues That Matter
Throughout his time on the City Council, Ronn has emphasized fiscal responsibility, public safety, infrastructure improvements, and economic development. He has advocated for road improvements, park enhancements, support for first responders, and efforts to attract new businesses and amenities to Santee.
His philosophy centers around the idea of “Live, Work, Shop, and Play in Santee”—a vision that encourages a strong local economy while preserving the community-focused character that residents value.
Service Above Self
Ronn’s involvement extends beyond government. He has volunteered with organizations such as Rotary and numerous local community groups, embracing the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.” Whether assisting local businesses, supporting community events, or responding to constituent concerns, he has consistently emphasized the importance of listening to residents and working collaboratively to solve problems.
Looking Ahead
As Santee continues to grow, Ronn Hall remains focused on maintaining public safety, supporting local businesses, improving infrastructure, and ensuring city government remains responsive and accountable to its residents. His decades of experience as a business owner and community volunteer continue to shape his approach to public service—one grounded in practical solutions, community involvement, and a commitment to preserving what makes Santee a great place to live.
